Top Five Association Insurance Misconceptions
There are many misconceptions surrounding Association Insurance, and here are just a few that many fall victim to:
- “ I don’t have any employees, so I don’t need Employer’s Liability Insurance.”
- “ I don’t run any equestrian events myself, so I don’t need any cover.”
- “Our judges also work for other classes and associations; they would be covered under their insurance.”
- “We don’t earn any money run running the association; therefore, we don’t have any risk exposure.”
- I don’t need a broker; I can buy one-off event cover online for a cheaper price.”
