Every six months employees at SEIB Insurance Brokers are given the chance to pick a local charity to support for that period. Most recently, we have been supporting Saint Francis Hospice in Havering-atte-Bower. On 23rd September, SEIB’s Financial Director Bipin Thaker visited the charity to make a donation of £8,000.
Bipin said: “Saint Francis are a charity that we have always tried our best to support, whether that be through donations, volunteer days or taking part in their fundraising events. But this year more than ever we’ve felt particularly close to their charity after suddenly losing a much-loved member of our team in January, Steve Reynolds. Steve was a huge supporter of the charity himself, and we’re doing our best to keep his fundraising legacy going.”
Adam Gordon, Corporate Partnership Executive at Saint Francis Hospice added: “We are incredibly grateful to SEIB for all the incredible support it has given to Saint Francis Hospice over the years to help make a difference to the lives of local people who need our experienced end of life care services.
As a charity, we depend on the generosity of our community and your latest donation will go towards the purchase of a van which will be used by our retail team to generate vital income for the hospice.
