Our insurers have confirmed that all cover for freelance instructors will be in place for teaching at this time, subject to you following the latest National Lockdown Rules set out by the government.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any advice on the rules themselves, but following yesterday’s update from British Equestrian (click here to find out more), coaches should consider any extra pressure that could be placed on the NHS as a result of riding accidents, and whether it is essential for clients to continue riding given the additional risk to their health. However, the decision to continue working at this time does ultimately rest with the individual coach.
If you or any member of your household develop coronavirus symptoms then you should get a free NHS test and must stay at home. Failure to do so may invalidate your insurance.
