Towards the end of March, the government announced that workers responsible for 'management of the deceased' would officially be categorised as 'key workers'. This meant that employees of funeral homes, cemeteries, crematoria and other funeral ancillary businesses would be at the frontline during the coronavirus outbreak. We know that key workers within the funeral industry have been working extremely hard during these unprecedented times.
Drastic measures have been put in place to aid with containing the spread of COVID-19 and Funeral Directors have been working non-stop to support our communities and keep essential services running. Whether you’re a Funeral Director, Embalmer, Celebrant or indeed work in any part of the funeral trade, SEIB Insurance Brokers would like to say a sincere and heart-felt thank you!
